چکیده
Objective: The disease caused by Covid-19 that progress with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (SARS) and can result in death, spread all over the world emerging from China. It is important to know cases expected show a fatal course beforehand due resulting death. In this study we analyzed changes observed ferritin, D-dimer, lymphocyte monocyte levels, which are easily measured patients, evaluated how these determinants be used as prognostic factors of disease.
Materials methods: One hundred patients who applied Bezmialem Vakif University Hospital between April 2020 – May 2020, were PCR positive, had infiltration their pulmonary computerised tomography scan, included study. These divided into two groups normal service intensive care unit patients. Ferritin, ALT, AST, LDH, CRP levels recorded at time diagnosis. Lymphocyte/monocyte ratio (LMR) was calculated.
Results: Ferritin D-dimer found statistically significantly higher mortality group compared non-mortality (p<0.05). LMR, on other hand, lower (p<0.05).
Conclusion: LMR determinant laboratory findings prognosis detected dime More studies should conducted objectively evaluate disease-related factors.

Esophageal carcinoma (EC) ranked the eighth most common cancer and the sixth leading cause of cancerrelated death all around the world. In east Asia, especially in China, Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is the predominant histological type of EC, affecting more than 100 cases per 100,000 population annually (Pennathur et al.). Despite multidisciplinary treatment for ESCC, surgical res...

Coronavirus disease 2019, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, has recently become the number one problem affecting global health. Coronavirus disease 2019 is principally recognized by its respiratory manifestations; however, recent studies have shown an increasing number of patients with gastrointestinal complaints like diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal discomfort...
متن کاملPrognostic Significance of Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio, Lymphocyte to Monocyte Ratio, and Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio in Patients with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
The peripheral blood neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), lymphocyte to monocyte ratio (LMR), and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) have been reported to correlate with the prognosis of many malignancies. This study evaluated the prognostic value of pretreatment NLR, LMR, and PLR in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). A retrospective analysis of clinical and pathological data of 140 NPC patients ...
متن کاملWhat We Know of the Prognostic Value of Lymphopenia in SARS-CoV-2 Infection
Background: Although by comparing the number of deaths to the total number of cases one may conclude that most of the infected cases are recovering, taking a look at the increasing statistics of deaths shows that SARS-CoV-2 continues to take its toll. Since lymphocytes are the main immune cells battling with rapidly evolving viruses, it comes as no surprise to assume that a decreased number of ...
متن کاملPrognostic Significance of Absolute Lymphocyte Count/Absolute Monocyte Count Ratio at Diagnosis in Patients with Multiple Myeloma
BACKGROUND Absolute lymphocyte count (ALC) in peripheral blood has recently been reported to be an independent prognostic factor in multiple myeloma (MM). Previous studies indicated that the absolute monocyte count (AMC) in peripheral blood reflects the state of the tumor microenvironment in lymphomas. Neither the utility of the AMC nor its relationship with ALC has been studied in MM. METHOD...
